Friday the 13th

We should have known better than to try and start our car on Friday the 13th. The first nice weather in our whole trip, and the car won't start. We spent the morning sitting around the campsite waiting for the AAA.


We got a scenic tow truck ride through Jackson Hole, and we got hooked up with a good mechanic who diagnosed the problem as worn starter contacts, and had us on the road by dinnertime.

We stopped at a Quiznos, where our total came to $8.88 - hopefully, a sign that our luck is changing...
