After two weeks in the wilderness, it is fair to say that Las Vegas is a bit of a shock to the system. We wandered around in a daze, overcome by the cacophony of the slot machines, until we finally succumbed and fed them a few dollars:
We're still not quite sure how the game works, but somehow Kirsten won $50 on the penny slots - hello, dinner!
We had a nice dinner at Bouchon (thanks to Pearl for the recommendation), then saw a Blue Man Group show - lots of fun.
Both the dinner and the show were at the Venetian, which we enjoyed mainly because it was nicer than the actual Venice - fewer mangy pigeons, and gondola rides are cheaper.
